Appetizers - Show us Your Life

 

 

I am linking up with Kelly Show us Your Life  today we are sharing Appetizers.  I am sharing Buffalo Chicken Dip I also like meatballs in the crock pot that my mom always makes.

 

Buffalo Chicken Dip

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

 

3 chicken breast - cooked and diced

15 oz. jar bleu cheese dressing

1 8 oz. package cream cheese - softened

12.oz  bottle hot pepper sauce

12 oz package shredded cheddar cheese

Celery sticks

Tortilla chips

 

Combine chicken, cream cheese, bleu cheese dressing, and hot pepper sauce in a large bowl until mixed well.  Spread into a lightly greased 3 quart casserole dish.  Top with the shredded cheddar.  Bake until bubbly and heated through - about 20 minutes.  Serve with celery sticks and tortilla chips.

 

I have also made this in the crock pot.

 



 

SKY BOWS - Show Us Your Life

   Today I am Linking up with Kelly's Korner - it is shows us  your small business.  This is not my business but this is my good friends Shelly business.  It is Sky Bows by Shelly.  Shelly makes bows and just opened her Esty site.  I love the bows that she makes and Ashley is starting to have a collection from Sky Bows.  Lots of us buy from Shelly because we love her bows and we are local so we don't have to use the Etsy site.  If you are not local I promise you will love the bows.  Don't let the few orders on the Etsy site scare you off.  It is just getting off the ground.

 Shelly at home with her 2 beautiful daughters.   She is involved in MOPS. Shelly is also our Life Group leader. As well as our small group leader on Wednesday nights. As you can see Shelly is a very Godly Woman. I tease her that she  should start a blog you would just fall in love with her family and girls. She is so encouraging to others.

Show Us Your Life

Today I am linking up with Kelly on singles mom's.  I would have to say I do not feel like a single mom because I have my family's help.  They never tell me no when I ask them to keep Ashley for me.  They treat Ashley like a daughter.  For that I am so grateful.  Being Athletic  Director is not set up for single mom's.  With my family's help I have been able continue that passion.

I like to say that I am single by choice.  Ashley is adopted it was a God's doing the entire journey.  I am not going to say I do not worry daily if I teaching Ashley everything she needs to know.  I do strive to surround her around loving people.  I will not lie it does break my heart when she ask about a Daddy.  Or I see T-shirts that say Daddy's little princess.  Or when its time for the daddy daughter dance and our friends our picking out their dresses.

Teaching middle school and hearing stories of children that come from single parents and the people that have been in and out of their lives.  Makes me more aware that I need to be very careful of who I let into Ashley and I lives.  In this season in my life I am focusing on Ashley.  I love taking her to soccer planet and tennis and just last weekend we went to our first play.  I love being a mom and we are a family.
