5 on 5 Friday

I Love linking up with the girls for FIVE ON Friday. Makes you excited for the weekend!

1. This weekend we get to go celebrate with Whitney. Its her baby shower. I can't wait!!!

2. Court was this week for "Little D" mom - its been a challenge but we have really fallen in love with him.  I could of never done it without my mom's help.  We sure will miss him when he moves on.

3.  I only had to go to school 2 days this week.  2 days this week I had curriculum writing and then I was off yesterday for Little D's court.  I did have to go back and work the basketball game after tonight only 1 more home basketball game this season.  Besides regional that we are hosting... I am kind of missing everybody!!!

 

4.  Ashley started piano last Friday - I wanted to take a picture last week of her first day.  I was  embarrassed to ask except I am going to get one this week.  Which reminds me we have piano homework to do and I don't have a clue.

5.  My dad had his battery in his defibrillator replaced.  He is doing  well.  His color is much better now.  He sleeps all the time.  He had been passing out randomly.  The Dr said he was being shocked by his defibrillator.  Its sad we can not leave Ashley alone with him anymore.  I just had a friend last week who father passed away while he was up in the deer stand and his 12 year old grand daughter was with him.  He had a heart attack the little girl had to call for help.  We just never know.

5 on 5 Friday

1.  Excited that I get to keep these lovely girls for the weekend.  We are going to have a great time!!

2.  We won last night at our boys basketball game.  It was a close game with Jefferson.  It was a barn burner.   We won in overtime.  I love our boys....

 

3.  I am excited that our Christmas cards will be here any day.  I can't wait to share them with you.


4.  Ashley went to a wonderful princess birthday party this week.  I was excited the princess dress she wore I got after Halloween on sale!!!

5.  Our tree is up and Skinny the elf on the shelf is back!!!!

Hopefully I can get back into blogging more. I am excited to be linking up with Darci today for 5 on 5. This is season when we look around and remember that we are so blessed. 

1.  I am thankful that nobody was seriously hurt in a tornado that touched down 15 mins from where I grew up.  It happened in Gifford IL. on Sunday afternoon

 

 

2.  Excited that "Little D" had a Thanksgiving Luncheon at Kids First on Thursday.  I was able to join him for lunch.  He was so confused what I was doing there.  Except I think deep down he enjoyed me being there for lunch.

 

 

3.  My dad's health has been failing.  I am thankful that my mom and his brother were able to get him to the Dr. on Thursday.  He is going to be having his battery replaced in his pace maker soon.

 

 

4.  Excited to be going to Raphael's 8th grade confirmation on Saturday.  It just warms my heart that he has a love for God.

 

 

5.  Super excited that Whitney and Ken are going to be having a boy in March!!
