family I can not imagine not living close by.  We are all going out to dinner tonight and I am so excited.

  college - running for Murray State and also the friendships and going to all the sporting events home and away.

 Ashley seeing her learn new things.  She is always happy and loves life and I just hope I can be a true blessing to her as a mother.

Fill In The Blank Friday

1.   The last thing I ate was  mini pizza's last night

2.   The last song I listened to was  Mr. Wrong is wrong for me I am not even sure that is the name of the song.  Except that song fits me so well .

3.  Using the letters in my name I can spell   (Kim)  I would have to think about that -  maybe you guys can think of some for me :)

 

4.  If I had to dress in one color for the rest of my life I would pick   I think it would be Orange for the Fighting ILLINI -

 

5.  If you were to look in my bag right now you'd find    gum, receipts,  gift cards,  a grocery list, extra clothes for Ashley in case she was accident.

6.  When I finish filling in the blanks I'm going to  teach my 6th grade health class they will be coming - today we are talking about decision making.

7.  My all time favorite song to dance to is  Gloria Gaynor I Will Survive At first I was afraid I was petrified. Kept thinking I could never live without you by ...  Love that song!!!

 Today I am linking up with The Little Things We do - the theme is Free Time - Lauren is enjoying her Free time before she has a baby.  Life is sure different after babies but I would not change it for anything.  I am sure glad that my free time is now is spent with Ashley.

. One of my favorite things to do when I have free time is go shopping or I love to go out to eat.  Now with Ashley I love to take a nap in my free time.

2. When I have free time I tend to  just lay around or play on the computer.

3. If I had an entire day completely to myself I would  tan, workout, go to the beef house go shopping.

4. I would prefer to spend my free time (alone or with others...)  I prefer to eat out with others so if I was to go to lunch I would want to go with others.  I prefer to shop with other out of town.

5. Most of my free time happens  after school before I have to pick up Ashley - I usually have an hour.

6. The best thing about free time is  that it can provide you with more energy and makes you feel younger.

7. The next time I have free time I should probably clean and get organized but instead, I'll probably take a nap or watch  Young and the Restless.

Fill In The Blank Friday

 

 

 

1.   My favorite thing about this week was/is  - that we had our last girls home basketball game of the season.  Also that  we had our Cross Country bowling party.  So I am officially done with Cross Country for the season.  Girls Basketball is about to start regionals.  I also should say a highlight of the week was taking Ashley trick or treating.

 

2.   Colder weather makes me  lazy and sluggish and sleepy - Come on Summer!!!!!

 

3.  Three things that make me terribly happy as of late are  hanging out with Ashley - she is so much fun to be around.

 

4. If I could only wear one kind of shoe for the rest of my life, I'd choose  clean tennis shoes - one that are in style - NIKE

 

5.  My personality type is  Way too emotional - I try to please everybody - I can not say NO and I think I can save the world.   When I have a hard time taking care of myself first.

 

6.  I have a serious problem resisting   bows for Ashley :) - Cupcakes

 

7.  My favorite color to wear is   blank and white

 1. The most selfless thing I've ever done was

2. When it comes to working out  I wish I had a set time  that I would go work out. I wish I went everyday and worked out,  that I would ride the bike, run, go to spinning class.  It is hard to run with the cross country team because I feel I need to be watching them in case of emergency.

3. A woman should always confident or what your represent.  Or what your next goal is. If you want to be the principal of the school dress like the principal.

4. I wish I could make tons of money   and then I'd   help the ones that needed money.  The people that jobs are holding the billboard signs up.  I wish I would take them a coke or a sandwich. 

5. A best friend is    that is always there for you.  Believes in you and understands you. Lets you be you.

6. I can't get enough of  cakes and sweets.

7. This weekend I am  going to Normal for my Cross Country Team they run at State.  Last weekend to get up early.

1. One of my happiest moments ever was Aug 24 2010 when I officially adopted Ashley.  Ashley was my first foster care placement that I received.  She came to me straight from the hospital. It took 3 years for the adoption.  I can not imagine my life without her. I love her so much!!!!

2. Summer is wedding season and weddings are - magical and beautiful.  I think they are so pretty.  I also love dressing up.   I have dreamed about my wedding day, I have even written letters to my parents that are to be open on my wedding day.  I wrote them when I was in high school.  I just wonder if I will meet someone and get married.  I always pictured myself having kids naturally and I have been coming to the realization that is not going to happen.

3. This summer the weather has been outstanding in the 100's in Champaign IL. I love the warm weather!!!!  I wish it was like this everyday.

4. My summer food of choice has been fruit and hot dogs. I love the hot dogs from the pool.  I also like at Mobil you can get chips and a drink for a dollar more with a hot dog.  So the entire hot dog, chips and a drink $2.37

5. My summer uniform has been sun dresses and sandals, short outfits and my swim suit and the pool.

6. If I could spend the entire summer in one location I would choose  at the pool or on a beach somewhere around sun and water.

7. My summer anthem is   Girls Rule the World.  I am not sure I just like the beat of the song.

1. I am a (morning, evening, middle of the day person) evening person and it seems like I stay up later when I have something important to do the next day.  Of course Ashley gets up early on days we have nothing.

2. My favorite Pandora stations are  105.5  and 96.1 and also listen to BGL our christian radio station.  Except when Ashley is in the car we have to listen to our VBS Cd's.

3. 3 of my "must-have" songs for a road trip playlist are  now of days it is what ever Ashley wants to listen to.  We need to keep the queen "happy"

4. My favorite pattern is I like all patterns.  Anything with pinks and greens, flowers etc.

 

5. My favorite perfume is I don't really have one I need to find one.  I just think they are so expensive and wonder if I don't like it in 3 days.

6. Rules are
Rules and I try to follow them. The teacher in me makes me say something when someone is breaking a rule. Except some rules do not make sense to me.

7. My most overused phrase or punctuation is dude which my dad hates when I call him that.  Or or man!!!!

1. The best news I ever received was  when I found out that I was going to be able to adopt Ashley.  Ashley was my first foster baby and I received her at birth.  After almost three years of working with the system I was able to adopt Ashley.

 

2. Something I'm looking forward to is  Game Day Ken and Whitney wedding. 15 days to go.  Love being with my extended family.  They love to dance and have a good time.  We are also staying in a hotel with a pool.

 

3. Something I would never do is  get a tattoo or have my nose or tongue pierced.

 

4. If I could choose someone to be my life coach (famous or not, living or dead), I'd choose  this is a hard one, I think I would pick Michelle Obama.

5. If I had to put a label on my style it would be not too exciting.  I seem to wear only Christopher and Banks.  I do like my Nike's and they do have to match my sweat suites.

6. One should always  be grateful for what they have.  Be happy with your life.  Only you can make it better.

7. I want to go to Gulf Shores for a vacation and I also would like to go back to the Dells in October.

This weekend I'm   hanging out at home, farmers market on Saturday and hopefully the pool   and  church on Sunday .

2. My last vacation was  just this week just got back yesterday.  Went to Edinburgh Premium Outlets in IN. Then went off to Murray KY.   where I went to College.  Then to Paducah KY. to Just Hamburgers - I worked for Jim and Carol in high school.  Then Double Cheese burgers were as good as I remember them.  We did a lot of shopping and relaxing by the pool.  It was wonderful just to be away.

3. My next vacation will be  hopefully soon to a beach. 

4. My favorite way to relax is  to be at a pool or hanging out in the sun.  Or just being away out to eat, or relaxing in a hotel room.

5. When vacationing one should always   just go with the flow.  Do what ever you want to do.  Don't look at your watch you are in no hurry.  Eat what ever you like.

6. When vacationing one should never  worry about what you are eating - lol or how much you are spending.

7. The best part about a vacation is just being away and enjoying the people you are with.

1. People always tell me I look like  my mom or my brother.

5. If I could afford it I would   go on all-inclusive vacation - spend time on a beach and buy fun stuff while I was away.  ( my mom would say a deck for my back yard.)

6. The cure for boredom is  to go spend money :)

7. I am currently "in like" with   cupcakes, and any dessert from the cake artists.  Farmers Market on Saturday morning.  I could spend lots of money there.

1.   My biggest accomplishment in life thus far is  the adoption of Ashley.  She is entire world - I love her so much.   I would also say my Master degree.  I just need a few more classes to move up the pay scale and I should bite the bullet and take the classes to have the hours.

2.  My favorite place to sit in my house is  I really like hanging out in my room.  Except now that I have a big T.V. in the living room - I like watching my shows on that T.V.

3.  My fashion philosophy is  try to always look your best.   Your sweat suites should match your shoes.  Its Nike outfit your shoes should be Nike.

 

4.  Something every girl should have is   lots of purses and bags and clothes!!!!

5.  If you looked in my purse right now you'd find....   wallet, magazine, notebooks, pens, lip gloss, lots of junk papers from stores.

6.  My favorite music right now is   I listen to everything.

7.  My favorite part of my body is   I have no idea :)
